BWP dominated the LGCT in Hamburg from the beginning to the end. On Thursday, the two 5* classes were won by two Belgian riders on BWP horses. Belgian vice-champion Jos Verlooy won the 1.45class on Japatero VDM (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x For Pleasure). VDM is the breeding farm of Dirk Bruggeman and Ann Carpentier.
In a 1.55 class, the victory was for Belgian Champion Nicola Pilippaerts and Harley vd Bisschop (Dulf vd Bisschop x Coronado), bred by Tom De Craene. Piergiorgio Bucci and Hargento van 't Laarhof (Argentinus x Burggraaf) ended on the fifth place. They repeated that performance on Saturday in the 1.60m GP Qualification.
One day later there was a new victory for BWP thanks to Ilton van 't Martendonkerf (Cooper vd Heffinck x Heartbreaker). This breeding product of Chris De Wispelaere won the 1.50m class under the saddle of David Will.
The closing Grand Prix was won by the world's number one rider Harrie Smolders on the BWP approved stallion Don VHP (Diamant de Semilly x Voltaire).
