Twelve combinations came at the start of the jump off of GP Windsor. Kent Farrington (Sherkan d'Amaury, v. Kannan) was the only one who stayed under 40 seconds. Lorenzo de Luca became second on the Belgian stallion Halifax vh Kluizenbos. Halifax is a son of Heartbreaker x Fetiche du Pas and was bred by Stefaan Delabie. The stallion is from the BWP Mare Line 13, also the line of, for example, Upsilon vd Heffinck who jumped with Ludo Philippaerts until 1.60 and the BWP stallion Grand Cru Vd Vijf Eiken (1.60).
In the other trials, two Belgian Warmbloods jumped to victory. Abdel Saïd took the win in a 1.55 trial with Hope van Scherpen Donder, Jessica Springsteen was the best in a 1.50 with Davendy S.
Hope is a 10 year old daughter of Quadrillo x Balou du Rouet and was bred by Goris-Van Hove.
