Up van ’t Paradijs was awarded the title ‘2023 reserve champion stallion’. He descends from the BWP sport bloodline 34 en his third dam was the sport mare Darcotique van ‘t Meulenhof. He is strongly developed and a very rideable type. He has a good movement mechanism. He showed his good use of his body and power under the saddle which will be an important assett to BWP Breeding.

Type :

Up van ’t Paradijs is a rideable, long lined stallion with a good stallion expression. He has an attractive front with much carriage in the neck. The back and loins are strong. The hindquarter is well-developed.

Legs :

The legs are well-developed and have a good length. The stance of the legs is correct. The feet are well-developed.

Movements :

He walks smooth and ground covering. He has an active trot with a good carriage, cover and impulsion. The canter is covering with much impulsion, but slightly downhill and it could be more light-footed. He moves correct and good impulsion on hard ground.

Free jumping :

He keeps a good overview during free jumping. He jumps with a good front leg technique. He sometimes could use his body better. He shows ample power.

Riding under test riders :

Up van ’t Paradijs has much willingness to work and his ‘rittigkeit’ is good. The feeling of his mouth is average and the neck shows not enough length. The walk and trot are good. The canter is covering and has impulsion.

Jumping under the saddle :

He keeps up well during jumping under the saddle. He has a good take-off and a good front leg technique. The use of his body is good and he shows much power.
