Uranus van ’t Zorgvliet carries the blood of BWP Ambassador Emerald van ’t Ruytershof in combination with the BWP jumping bloodline 117 of Van ’t Zorgvliet Stables. He is a sportive stallion whose expression and muscling developed nicely towards the third phase. During the riding tests he was pleasant and easy to ride. He is expected to pass on his quick jumping reflexes and good use of his body. 

Type :

Uranus van ’t Zorgvliet is a sportive stallion who lacked some muscle and stallion expression in the second phase. Towards the third phase he gained a lot in development and expression. He has a sufficient rectangular conformation. The neck is well-shaped but lacks some length. The withers is amply developed. His middle section is slightly deep. The hindquarter is muscled.

Legs :

The legs have sufficient length and are lean. Is left front leg is a little toed in. His feet have a ample size.

Movements :

His walk acks some ground cover and rhythm. The trot is amply covering and supple with sufficient impulsion but he could have more freedom in his shoulder. The canter is sufficiently covering but he could slightly jump more. He moves correct on hard ground but he lacks some ground cover.

Free jumping :

In free jumping he jumps with ease but he could have slightly more overview. He has a good leg technique. The use of his body is good and he shows good scope.

Riding under test riders :

He willingness to move and ‘rittigkeit’ under the saddle are good to very good. He reacts well to the aids. The feeling of his mouth is good. He moves with ease but with simple ground cover and impulsion. His canter is balanced but he lacks some bending in his hind leg.

Jumping under the saddle :

He has a lot of reflex on the jump under the saddle. The technique of his frontleg and the use of his body are good. He shows sufficient power.

Papillon van ’t Zorgvliet is an appealing mare with a sufficient rectangular conformation. Her legs have sufficient length. The head is slightly big. The neck has ample length and is well-muscled. The withers is a little high and the loins are strong. The croup is a little short and hindquarter strongly muscled. The quality and stance of the legs are good. She walks with ample cover and impulsion. The trot is supple.
