Lesotho Z descends from a strong Holsteiner bloodline that also produced the international jumping stallions Lordano and Chin Chin. His half brother Icos is competed at 1m60 level. Lesotho Z is an impressive stallion but could look slightly more sportive. He is ‘rittig’ and shows good movements under the saddle. He has a good front leg technique and ample power during the jumping tests.
Type :
Lesotho Z is a strongly developed rideable stallion with a good rectangular conformation. He could have slightly more stallion expression. The neck has ample length but could be more muscular. The withers is well-developed. The middle section is well-shaped and the hindquarter is muscular.
Legs :
The legs are strong and lean and have much length. The hind leg could be put slightly more under the mass. The shape of the hoof is good.
Movements :
He should walk a little bit more through his body. He trots amply covering with slightly little impulsion. The canter is covering and amply balanced. He walks slightly narrow and the trot is sufficient.
Free jumping :
He keeps a good overview during free jumping and he can switch well between the fences. The technique of the front leg and the use of his body are sufficient. He shows good power.
Riding under test riders :
The willingness to work and ‘rittigkeit’ are good under the test riders. The feeling of the mouth is average to good and he reacts well to the leg aids. The walk and trot are good. The canter is ground covering and well-jumped.
Jumping under the saddle :
Lesotho Z is easy to work during the jumping under the saddle test. His front leg technique is good. He could use his body better. He shows ample power.

The high-blooded O’Varese has a good rectangular conformation and has much length in her legs. The neck has ample length but lacks muscle. Her head is beautiful. The withers is well-developed. The back has a good length but is slightly deep. He croup is a little flat. The stance of the legs is correct and the legs are well-developed. Given her age, the movements are difficult to judge.
