The second of January, Thunder vd Zuuthoeve passed away. Thunder vd Zuuthoeve was nineteen.
The stallion was born in 1996 in the stables of his breeder, René Vets. At the age of three, he was approved as a breeding stallion for the BWP studbook. His sports career ended in 2008 because of an injury at Jumping Mechelen (rider Jan Van Dijck). His sports career ended so sadly too early. But Thunder of the Zuuthoeve is a real sire, his descendants perform very well and therefore he became BWP Ambassador.
