Pommeau du Heup was born in 2003 at the French breeder Hubert Groualle. He was first approved for the French studbook and was even crowned to the champion of St-Lô. In 2007, he was the age of four presented at the BWP Stallion Selection by Station Van Dijck. The judge gave approval and Pommeau was immediately appreciated by the breeders.
In the competitions for young horses, the stallion did well. In 2013 Niels Bruynseels became the rider of Pommeau and from then on it went fast. In 2014 he jumped into the Belgian team. Recently the duo performed outstanding in Lummen. Reasons enough to give Pommeau the title of elite stallion.
