In Vilamoura, the 3* GP was won by a BWP horse. The horse already had a good start at the event on February 28, by ending third in a 1.45m class. So, they did even better later on. Deniro is the name which figures on the results lists, but in fact it concerns the 2007 BWP born Hargento van 't Laarhof, bred by Jozef Van Laerhoven. Hargento is a son of Argentinus x Burggraaf and is now ridden by the Italian rider Piergiorgio Bucci. On the second place ended another BWP horse : Ilena de Mariposa, under the saddle of Felicie Bertrand.

In one of the 1.4Om classes, the first place was for Martim Portala de Morais and the BWP horse Inco van den Bisschop, bred by Tom de Craene out of the combination Kashmir van 't Schuttershof x Cavalier. In second place ended Timothee Anciaume, riding the BWP horse Isabeau van Dorperheide.
