Early this year, the stallion Origi d'O was the auction king at the BWP Top Stallion Auction 2017. He moved to Germany. Several other stallions reached high prices. The biggest amounts were for the approved stallions Oscar van Spieveld and Oscar The Hommage, who both stayed in Belgium, and for On My Own van 't Nief Geel, a stallion we will see back at the third phase this year.
The number of auction candidates in 2018 is about the same as in the last edition : 41 stallions have been entered. However , they have to survive the second day of the stallion selection in order to be eligible for the auction.
All participants in the stallion selection can be found here. The auction stallions are marked in green, with the info concerning the dam lines. In the stallion approval catalogue, QR codes have been added by Hippomundo. In that way, you can quickly look up more information on all stallions. In a later stadium, the video images of the auction stallions wiil be available via these QR codes.
