Last weekend Glock’s London said goodbye to the sport during CSI Geesteren. He can look back on a richly filled career.
In 2002 a chestnut foal was born by breeder Joris De Brabander. The son of Nabab de Reve out of the mare Ta Belle van Sombeke (by Chin Chin) was named Carembar de Muze. In 2006 he participated at the BWP Stallion Selection and became a BWP approved stallion. At the age of 5, Stal Eurocommerce bought Carembar where he, like the other horses, was named after a city. In his case that became London. No wrong choice turned out afterwards.
After all, the stallion made history at the Olympic Games in London by taking individual silver and team silver to the Netherlands with Gerco Schröder. Two years later they were part of the golden team at the World Equestrian Games in Caen. These are just the top performances. The duo also won several GPs and participated countless times in the prize givings.
Thanks to all these sports performances, he was also crowned BWP Ambassador, a sporting farewell to an icon!
